St. Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - St. Louis Rams offensive tackle Jake Long reportedly underwent knee surgery recently.

Long suffered tears to the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his right knee during the first quarter of the Rams' Week 16 win over Tampa Bay and missed the season finale.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Long had a procedure to repair the torn ACL after the torn MCL had healed on its own.

A four-time Pro Bowl selection and the No. 1 overall pick of the 2008 NFL Draft, Long signed a four-year contract with the Rams in March after spending his first five seasons with the Miami Dolphins.
