Nacogdoches, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Central Arkansas football coach Clint Conque will switch schools in the Southland Conference and take over the coaching reins at Stephen F. Austin, according to a report Saturday.

Footballscoop.com, a website devoted to football coaching news, first reported that Conque will leave UCA after 14 seasons to move to the rival school. He has a 105-59 record with the Bears, leading them from the Division II level to the FCS in 2006.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette later confirmed the coaching change. There was no immediate announcement from either school.

UCA finished 7-5 overall and 4-3 in the Southland this season. The Bears earned a share of the conference title in 2012.

Stephen F. Austin is seeking to replace J.C. Harper, who was fired last month after his seventh season as the Lumberjacks' head coach. They went 3-9 overall and 1-6 in the Southland this season.
