Redskins' LB London Fletcher says he gets a 'bell-ringing,' sees stars about twice a game
ASHBURN, Va. – Washington Redskins linebacker London Fletcher says he gets a "bell-ringing" about a couple of times a game.
Fletcher said Thursday he doesn't classify the hits as concussions. He says: "You'll see stars for a second, and then you're back to normal in two, three seconds, whatever the case may be. That's just the way the game is."
Fletcher also talked about a concussion he kept secret from reporters during preseason last year. He first revealed the injury in an article in this week's edition of Sports Illustrated.
Fletcher has never missed a game in his NFL career. His streak is at 240 regular season games, the longest among active players.
