Real Madrid's Di Maria suffers hamstring injury

Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid midfielder Angel Di Maria injured his left hamstring Sunday in La Liga, and the Argentina international will be sidelined for an unknown spell.

Di Maria, 23, left the 7-1 win over Osasuna after 50 minutes, and is in danger of missing the remaining matches of the Champions League group stage and games in La Liga, depending on how long he is out.

Real Madrid has already advanced to the knockout round of the Champions League and leads La Liga but will have to compensate for the absence of Di Maria, who has two goals in 16 matches in all competitions.
