A new head coach didn't help Los Angeles much on Tuesday night.

The Kings fired Terry Murray on Monday and replaced him on an interim basis with John Stevens, but it was Tuukka Rask and Brad Marchand who stole the show as the Boston Bruins handed the Kings a 3-0 loss.

Rask stopped 41 shots for his first shutout of the season while Marchand scored twice for the Bruins, who have won two straight after dropping their previous two.

The Kings, meanwhile, have dropped five straight and have not scored more than two goals a game in their past nine contests.

Jonathan Quick allowed all three goals on 22 shots in the loss.
