Oakland, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - For the first time in nearly 16 years a baseball game in Oakland has been rained out.

The second game of the Athletics' season-opening series against the Indians has been postponed due to inclement weather, the first in Oakland since May 5, 1998 vs. Detroit.

The makeup game at O.com Coliseum has been rescheduled for Wednesday as part of a day-night doubleheader.

Corey Kluber was set to start on the hill for the Indians on Tuesday while the A's were to counter with offseason pickup Scott Kazmir.

Cleveland won the season opener, 2-0, on Monday.
