The Colorado Rapids announced Thursday that it has signed 22-year-old winger Kevin Harbottle.

Harbottle has experience with the Chilean national team and joins the Rapids from Chilean powerhouse Universidad Catolica, where he won the 2011 Copa Chile and played in the Copa Libertadores.

"Kevin is a young, dynamic attacking player who will be a great fit for our squad this season," said Rapids Technical Director Paul Bravo. "At just 22 years old, he's already proven he can play at a high level, and we look forward to helping him develop further as he integrates into our team and our league."
