Madrid, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos will be able to take part in his team's match with Valencia on Sunday after his red card against Osasuna was rescinded.

Ramos saw red for a club record 18th time in the 2-2 draw with Osasuna on Saturday, but Madrid appealed the decision and the Spain Football Association's disciplinary committee agreed with the appeal.

The Spain international was shown two yellow cards in the match, but the disciplinary committee felt that there was no contact made with Osasuna's Alvaro Cejudo, which resulted in the first booking for Ramos.

Real Madrid will be boosted by the inclusion of Ramos for the match against Valencia as the club attempts to reduce its five-point deficit to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
