Demetrius Pollard made only two baskets Saturday, but one was a 3-pointer that pulled Northeastern within a point, and David Walker sank a game-winning three free throws as the Huskies rallied in the final 15 seconds to edge Drexel 54-52 in a bid to improve their seeding for the Colonial Athletic Association tournament.

Northeastern (10-20, 7-9 CAA) started Saturday in a three-way tie for fifth seed with Charleston and James Madison. Drexel (16-13, 8-8) earlier clinched fourth.

Drexel's Chris Fouch capped a 15-4 run with a pair of 3-pointers for a 43-38 lead and 8 minutes left. Northeastern trailed until 6 seconds remained when Walker — who had made only two field goals and nothing from the line — was fouled on a 3-pointer. Scott Eatherton set up the possession with a steal.

Eatherton scored 10 with 15 rebounds, his 18th double-double of the season. Fouch scored 26 for Drexel.
