Phillies place RHP Danys Baez on disabled list, recall LHP Antonio Bastardo

SAN DIEGO – The Philadelphia Phillies have placed right-handed reliever Danys Baez on the 15-day disabled list with back spasms.

Taking his place on the roster is left-hander Antonio Bastardo, who was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Baez is 3-3 with a 5.14 ERA in 45 appearances.

Bastardo was recalled for the fourth time this season.
