The third-seeded Austrian slugger handled Britain's Heather Watson 6-4, 7-6 (7-5) in 2 hours, 7 minutes in quarterfinal action at this $220,000 event.
Paszek defeated American Bethanie Mattek-Sands in last year's finale and has now won eight straight main-draw matches here on the indoor hardcourts at PEPS Laval University Campus.
The 2011 Bell Challenge titlist will earn $37,000.
