Charlotte, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - The Carolina Panthers released wideout Armanti Edwards on Tuesday.
Edwards was taken by the Panthers in the third round of the 2010 draft, and racked up five catches for 121 yards last season.
He also compiled 253 yards on punt returns and 295 yards on kickoffs in 39 career games with the franchise.
Carolina also signed wide receiver Toney Clemons to the practice roster and cut wide receiver Cordell Roberson from the practice squad.
