Panthers claim top draft pick with worst season

NEW YORK (Reuters) - While a dozen teams were alive in the chase for the Super Bowl, the other 20 NFL teams look to building for the future, with the Carolina Panthers holding top pick of the 2011 draft after finishing with the worst record.

Following is the order of selection for this spring's NFL draft, with the positions of playoff teams to be determined by the postseason results (tabulate under order, team, 2010 record):
