San Diego Padres catcher Yasmani Grandal has completed serving his 50-game suspension and will be in uniform for Tuesday's matchup against the Seattle Mariners.

Grandal was revealed to have tested positive for elevated levels of testerone back in November. The 24-year-old batted .297 with eight home runs and 36 RBI over 60 games as a rookie last season.

The former Cincinnati first-round pick of Cincinnati, acquired by the Padres as part of a five-player trade that sent pitcher Mat Latos to the Reds in December of 2011, went 11-for-36 in nine games on a rehab assignment with Triple-A Tuscon to prep for his return to the majors.

Catcher John Baker, who was batting just .150 in 16 games this season, was optioned to Tucson to make room for Grandal on the active roster.
