Baltimore, MD (SportsNetwork.com) - The Baltimore Orioles activated infielder Ryan Flaherty from the 15-day disabled list and designated outfielder Alejandro De Aza for assignment.

Flaherty was put on the DL on May 12 with a right groin strain. In 13 games this season, Flaherty is batting .250 with a .372 on-base percentage and two home runs.

De Aza, 31, was struggling in his first full season with the Orioles, batting just .214 with a .277 on-base percentage and two steals in four attempts. In an eight-year career with the Marlins, White Sox and Orioles, he is a .265 hitter with a .328 on-base percentage and 81 steals.
