The Baltimore Orioles activated third baseman Mark Reynolds from the 15-day disabled list on Monday.

Reynolds was placed on the DL on May 12, retroactive to May 11, with a strained left oblique. In 27 games for the O's this season, Reynolds is hitting just .191 with two home runs and nine RBI, but was beginning to heat up at the plate before the injury. He had hit safely in five of his last seven games with five-extra base hits before landing on the DL.

In other team news, Baltimore placed pitcher Stu Pomeranz on the 15-day DL, retroactive to May 26, with a left oblique injury.

Pomeranz has allowed two runs in six innings of work with the Orioles this season.
