Jer Garman ran for 164 yards and two touchdowns and North Dakota took advantage of six Northern Colorado turnovers to snap an eight-game road losing streak with a 33-14 victory on Saturday.

The victory in its season finale also marked UND's first road victory and only two consecutive victories.

UND (5-7, 3-5 Big Sky) forced four fumbles and intercepted two passes. It scored 23 points off turnovers by the Bears (3-8, 2-6).

Garman scored on runs of 2 and 8 yards. Reid Taubenheim kicked field goals of 47, 47, 38 and 36 yards.

Dimitri Stimphil had 157 yards receiving and finished his collegiate career as the Northern Colorado's Division I career receiving yards leader with 2,498.

It took North Dakota eight plays to grab the lead for good. Keaton Studsrud threw an 11-yard TD pass to Josh Seibel just 3:45 into the game. North Dakota scored the first 20 points.
