Lauren Mincy scored 23 points and Lexie Brown added 13 to help No. 10 Maryland beat James Madison 80-64 on Friday at the San Juan Shootout.

Leading 11-10, Maryland (6-0) scored 11 straight points over the next 3:22 to take control of the game. Brene Moseley had five points during the burst. The Terps led 40-27 at the half.

James Madison was able to cut the deficit to nine on two free throws by Destiny Jones with 14:18 left in the game, but that's as close as the Duke could get.

Precious Hall scored 29 points and Toia Giggetts added 18 for James Madison (4-1). The Dukes had no one else score more than five.
