Alvaro Negredo netted a goal in each half to help Sevilla to a 3-2 home win against Mallorca on Monday.

Both sides entered the contest on two-game losing streaks and Mallorca got off the mark first as Pedro Bigas tallied a goal in the 26th minute, only for Negredo to answer right back by slamming home a deflected cross from inside the penalty area.

Tomer Hemed continued the scoring surge by netting his sixth goal of the campaign for Mallorca just one minute later as he rolled the ball inside the far post after getting into the area on the right.

Negredo got Sevilla back to level terms in the 56th minute, and Cicinho was responsible for the winning goal 15 minutes from time.

A corner kick was cleared only as far as the Brazilian at the top of the penalty area, and his volley took a deflection on its way past goalkeeper Dudu Aouate, who could do little to keep it out.
