It’s not the face you might expect to see while stranded along the highway. But for one Florida driver, it certainly was a pleasant surprise.

Deputies with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office responding to a car crash along I-75 in Alachua County on Monday were likely caught off guard when they were greeted by four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal.

“He stopped to check on the welfare of the driver and remained with her until law enforcement arrived,” officials said in a Facebook post. “He fist bumped Deputies Purington and Dillon before going on his way.”

In the video, deputies can be heard thanking O'Neal for his assistance. The driver is also heard telling deputies that the tire blew out, forcing her to pull over and that the NBA legend stopped to help.
