New York, NY – In the event that the NBA is able to reach a new collective bargaining agreement with the players, the 2011 preseason will begin on October 9.
It seems unlikely that the preseason will take place considering how far apart both sides are.
The 114-game preseason schedule would begin October 9 with five games and continues until October 28, when three games wrap up the preseason.
