New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat was fined $5,000 by the NBA on Thursday for violating the league's anti-flopping rules for a second time this season.

The incident occurred late in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game against Utah when Jazz guard Rodney Hood made slight contact with Gortat from behind as the two went for a rebound.

Hood was called for a foul and Gortat made two free throws at the other end. Washington won the game 88-84.
