Viera, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - The Washington Nationals agreed to terms with relief pitcher Mike Gonzalez on a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training on Tuesday.

Gonzalez, an 11-year veteran, appeared in 75 games with the Milwaukee Brewers last season, posting a record of 0-3 with a 4.68 ERA.

In 509 career relief outings, Gonzalez has a record of 17-24 with a 3.14 ERA and 56 saves. The lefty spent 2012 with Washington and did not record a decision with a 3.03 ERA in 47 games.
