After the Seahawks released Nate Boyer, the former Green Beret did not appear to be bothered or hurt by the move.

It was GM John Schneider who had a hard time relaying the message, according to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer.

Later, Boyer appeared on NFL Network and shared a heartwarming message to the fans.

Below is a transcription of his message:

"First of all, thank you for the support," Boyer said, via NFL Network. "I can't even fathom how much support. A lot of it, I never even heard and will never even know. If I can just inspire one person, that means a lot to me. The fact I was able to touch a lot of people with this journey, that's huge. That's what it was all about to me. it was about representing my brothers in arms and my country.

"This feeling that I have right now, this "failure," it does not feel bad. It's not a bad feeling. I feel like I'm on top of the world."
