Naples, Italy – Napoli signed midfielder Valon Behrami and defender Alessandro Gamberini from Italian rivals Fiorentina on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old Behrami, a Switzerland international, spent just 18 months with Fiorentina. Capped 32 times for Switzerland, Behrami previously played at West Ham, Lazio, Verona, Genoa and Lugano.
The 30-year-old Gamberini spent seven seasons with Fiorentina, and was captain last year. He has earned eight caps for Italy, but was not on the Euro roster. Gamberini has also played for Verona and Bologna.
