Morgan Pressel has the 54-hole lead going into the final round of the Women's British Open.

Pressel holed a 20-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole Sunday morning to cap off a 1-under 71 on an increasingly difficult Old Course at St. Andrews. The third round was delayed because of 40 mph gusts on Saturday.

Pressel was at 9-under 207, one shot ahead of Stacy Lewis, who had a 69. Na Yeon Choi (75), Miki Saiki (74), Hee Young Park (70) and Suzann Pettersen (72) were two shots behind. Still in the mix was Catriona Matthew of Scotland, who finished birdie-eagle for a 68 and was three shots behind.

Inbee Park, going for a record fourth straight professional major in one season, had a 74 and fell nine shots behind.
