Kenneth Faried scored 23 points and grabbed 23 rebounds and Morehead State rallied in the second half to beat Tennessee State 72-65 on Thursday night.

The Eagles trailed from the first basket until 2:55 left, outscoring the Tigers 30-9 in the final 12:30.

Faried tallied his 74th career double-double, moving to a tie with Keith Lee of Memphis and David Robinson of Navy at No. 10 all time in the NCAA.

Ty Proffit, who was 3 of 7 from 3-point range, added 15 points and Demonte Harper had 14 for Morehead State (14-8, 6-4 Ohio Valley Conference).

The Tigers (10-10, 7-3) shot 51.1 percent from the field (23 of 45) and led 42-33 at halftime. However, the Eagles outrebounded Tennessee State 42-23.

Kenny Moore led Tennessee State with 16 points. Patrick Miller added 11 and Robert Covington had 10 for the Tigers, who had their four-game winning streak snapped.
