Juan Monaco outlasted John Isner in Sunday's final at the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship.

The fourth-seeded Monaco of Argentina took down Isner, the No. 2 seed, by a 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 margin.

The American lost despite firing eight aces past Monaco. An American has reached the final at this tournament for 11 of the past 12 years, including the last five.

Monaco claimed his fifth ATP title and took home $71,900 with the victory.
