The MLS Disciplinary Committee issued sanctions to two Real Salt Lake players on Thursday, suspending and fining defender Abdoulie Mansally while fining forward Alvaro Saborio.

In addition to his fine for an undisclosed amount, Mansally will serve a one- game suspension for violent conduct exhibited during Real Salt Lake's match against D.C. United on Saturday. It was determined that Mansally used his head to strike United midfielder Perry Kitchen in the 61st minute.

Saborio has been fined an undisclosed amount for aggravated dissent toward the referee in the 93rd minute of the same match.

The Disciplinary Committee also issued an official warning to Sporting Kansas City regarding a violation of the league's mass confrontation policy during the late stages of the club's loss at Toronto FC on Saturday. Future violations of this policy by Sporting will result in fines for the club and its head coach.
