Curtis Granderson hit a grand slam 0 victory over the Chinese Taipei Star Series.

The event is a five-game series pitting a team of MLB stars against the Chinese Taipei national team.

Tuesday's game was shortened, stopped after the top of the sixth inning because of rain. But Granderson powered MLB to the win with his third-inning homer at Xinzhuang Stadium, according to MLB.com.

Marlins outfielder Logan Morrison singled before teammate Emilio Bonifacio and Angels shortstop Erick Aybar walked. The Yankees center fielder -- who hit a team-and career-high 41 homers during the major league season -- then slugged Yao-Hsun Yang's pitch to right field for a 4-0 lead.

Bonifacio hit a two-run single in the fourth, and Nationals infileder Michael Morse singled in a run in the next inning.

MLB starter Jeremy Guthrie, of the Baltimore Orioles, pitched three innings.

The second game is set for Thursday.
