Kansas City Royals infielder Miguel Tejada, who was suspended Saturday for 105 games after testing positive for amphetamines, was absolved of any possible Biogenesis-related infraction on Wednesday.

"The Office of the Commissioner investigated all allegations regarding players associated with Anthony Bosch and Biogenesis. The investigation found no violation by Miguel Tejada of the Joint Drug Prevention and Treatment Program," Major League Baseball said in a statement.

ESPN reported that Tejada was implicated in the Biogenesis investigation. ESPN's "Outside The Lines" show reported MLB had the choice of suspending Tejada for his involvement in Biogenesis or for his use of amphetamines.

Bosch, the founder of the now-defunct anti-aging clinic, provided evidence that Tejada had been a customer of Biogenesis, according to ESPN.
