Browns Pro Bowl wide receiver Josh Gordon is practicing for the first time since his 10-game suspension ended.

Gordon, who led the league with 1,646 yards receiving last season, worked out with his teammates Wednesday and is expected to play Sunday in Atlanta. Gordon had a one-year ban for violating the NFL's drug policy reduced to 10 games in September and his return should give the Browns (6-4) a much needed offensive jolt.

Gordon showed some rustiness by dropping two passes during the portion of practice open to media members.

Coach Mike Pettine said the plan is to bring Gordon along slowly this week. Pettine said there's a danger in rushing Gordon back. Pettine met with Gordon before the team's pre-practice walk-through and said the 23-year-old is "very excited to be out there. He's ready to go."
