Mercury's Bonner earns third consecutive Sixth Woman Award

Phoenix Mercury guard-forward DeWanna Bonner was selected as the WNBA's Sixth Woman of the Year.

Bonner was named the top reserve for the third straight year after receiving half of the 40 votes from a national panel of sportswriters and broadcasters.

The Auburn product averaged 10.7 points and career-high 7.0 rebounds in 34 games this season.

New York's Essence Carson and Connecticut's Kara Lawson each received eight votes.
