Megan McChrystal closed out a 4-under 68 with a birdie on Monday to capture the title at the Symetra Tour Championship.

McChrystal earned her second career victory on the Symetra Tour at 13-under- par 275. With the win, McChrystal jumped into the top 20 of the Symetra Tour's money list and earned her an invitation to the final stage of LPGA Qualifying School in December.

"I think I might cry," said McChrystal. "This gives me the confidence I need for Q School. Last year, I was terrified, now I know I'm ready."

Players were forced to play 36 holes on Sunday after Saturday's third round was washed out by rain, eventually causing the Monday finish after play was halted on Sunday for darkness.

McChrystal entered the final round a stroke behind overnight leader Paula Reto, and remained a shot back at the turn as both players recorded three birdies over their outward nine.

McChrystal grabbed the lead with a 2-stroke swing at the 11th as she birdied the hole to move to 13-under and Reto tripped to a bogey,

Reto bounced back with a birdie at the 12th to meet McChrystal atop the leaderboard before McChrystal bogeyed the 14th to again hand Reto the outright lead.

But just before play was halted on Sunday for darkness, Reto double bogeyed the 16th to fall to 11-under and a shot behind McChrystal.

When play resumed on Monday, Reto opened with a bogey at the 17th to drop two strokes off the pace while McChrystal birdied her only hole on Monday to secure the win.

Reto closed with a par at the last to finish the tournament at 10-under 278, but her bogey at the 17th allowed Perrine Delacour (66) to move into second place at 11-under.

Giulia Molinaro (70) and Lisa Ferrero (70) shared fourth behind Reto at 8- under 280.

The top 10 finishers on the Symetra Tour's money list after this final event earned their LPGA Tour cards for the 2014 season, including money leader P.K. Kongkraphan.

The next 10 players earned an invitation to the final stage of LPGA Qualifying School.
