(SportsNetwork.com) - The Dallas Mavericks will try to bounce back when they close out a three-game road trip against the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Mavericks have dropped back-to-back games against Portland and Golden State, and are just 1-4 in their last five games.

In Friday's 104-89 loss to the Warriors, Rajon Rondo and Dirk Nowitzki each had 14 points for the Mavericks.

"The last two nights we're playing against the top two defensive teams," Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said. "It was just a tough night."

After visiting the Lakers. Dallas will play five straight at home versus Cleveland, LA Clippers, Oklahoma City, Orlando and Memphis.

The Lakers have lost four straight after winning three in a row and will start a four-game homestand Sunday versus Dallas, Detroit, New York and Atlanta.

Los Angeles suffered a 97-90 loss at Memphis on Friday in the finale of a three-game road trip. Jordan Clarkson scored 25 points and both Wayne Ellington and Wesley Johnson scored 14 points.

Dallas has won five in a row against the Lakers.
