Orlando, FL – Bob Vander Weide is retiring as chief executive officer of the Orlando Magic.
Vander Weide, who began his career with the Magic in 1992 as vice president of basketball operations, will announce his retirement at a press conference on Wednesday morning, a team spokesman confirmed.
The spokesman said Magic president Alex Martins has been promoted to CEO.
