Madrid duo doubtful for Lyon clash

Madrid, Spain – Real Madrid duo Kaka and Alvaro Arbeloa are both doubtful to feature in Wednesday's Champions League Group D match at Lyon as both players are battling muscle injuries.

Kaka appeared as a substitute in Madrid's 1-0 win over Real Sociedad on Saturday, while Arbeloa played the full 90 minutes.

However, the club has revealed that both players are suffering from minor muscle injuries, although no timetable has been set for their return.

Real Madrid has won all three of its group matches to open up a five-point at the top, with Madrid having beaten Lyon 4-0 a few weeks ago in Spain.
