Luck also captured the Walker Camp Award as the college football player of the year as voted by coaches and sports information directors.

Luck, last year's Heisman Trophy runner-up, finished another stellar season ranked fifth nationally with a 167.50 pass efficiency rating while throwing for 3,170 yards and a school-record 35 touchdowns. He threw just nine interceptions and led the Cardinal to a Fiesta Bowl appearance with an 11-1 record.

Boise State quarterback Kellen Moore and Alabama running back Trent Richardson were the other finalists for the award.
