Lucas Troutman had 20 points and four blocks Saturday to lead Elon to a 66-61 victory and season sweep of Georgia Southern.

Elon (17-11, 10-3 Southern Conference) used a 10-4 run to pull away 66-59 on Jack Isenbarger's free throws with 15 seconds left. The Phoenix had a 34-27 halftime advantage and led the entire second half.

Georgia Southern (12-17, 5-9) stayed close almost the entire way and pulled within 56-55 on Brian Holmes' 3-pointer with 4:58 left.

Elon answered with 3-pointers on back-to-back possessions by Isenbarger and Tanner Samson to spark Elon's late run.

Isenbarger had 14 points and Samson had 12 — each of them had four 3-pointers. Troutman passed Diffy Ross into 10th place on Elon's career scoring list.

Tre Bussey had 16 points and Marvin Baynham had 14 rebounds for the Eagles. Bussey missed a 3-point attempt to tie the game with 37 seconds left.
