Lucas Luhr, Klaus Graf race to 8th straight ALMS victory, topping field in Virginia

ALTON, Va. – Lucas Luhr and Klaus Graf raced to their eighth consecutive American Le Mans Series victory, winning Sunday at Virginia International Raceway.

Luhr and Graf co-drove the No. 6 Honda-ARX-03c prototype to a 22.846-second victory over the No. 16 Dyson Racing Mazda-Lola shared by Johnny Mowlem and Guy Smith in the 2-hour, 45-minute race.

Luhr extended his ALMS record with his 49th career victory in the series, while Graf picked up his 22nd win. The teammates clinched the P1 class championship last month.
