Denzel Livingston made 25 points, had six assists and three steals as Incarnate Word came back to overwhelm Abilene Christian in the second half and win 80-68 Thursday night.

ACU was hot in the first half, making 17 of 25 field goal attempts but the Wildcats were stymied in the second period, making only 22.7 percent. ACU held a 46-38 halftime lead and were ahead 63-60 when Anthony Horton and Livingston made a 3-pointer apiece and Mitchell Badillo had a three-point play for a 69-65 advantage with 8:43 left. The Cardinals won the second half 42-22.

Livingston, who has now scored at least 20 points in his last eight games, made 3 of 5 3-point attempts and made all 10 free throw attempts. Horton had 18 points and Kyle Hittle had 14 for Incarnate Word (19-5, 7-4 Southland).

Julian Edmonson had 18 points for ACU (8-17, 2-9).
