The Los Angeles Lakers signed forward/center Troy Murphy on Sunday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Murphy, a 10-year veteran, has career averages of 11.6 points and 8.3 rebounds per game.

He averaged 14.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per game with the Pacers in 2009-10, but bounced around the league last season, managing just 3.1 ppg and 3.2 rpg in 35 games with the Nets and Celtics.

Murphy began the season with New Jersey before being traded to Golden State in February. After his contract was bought out by the Warriors, he signed with Boston, but averaged only 2.6 points in 17 games.
