You probably won't be seeing Kristaps Porzingis in a New York City bar any time soon.

First of all, as the New York Knicks big man pointed out to a reporter this week, he's not yet of legal drinking age:

More than that, though, Porzingis doesn't seem to be about that life. Instead, according to the New York Daily News, the New York rookie has spent most of his time stateside with his mother, father and two older brothers.

Yes, that's five very tall Latvians all under the same roof in White Plains. And that seems to suit Porzingis just fine. He's not one to be out on the town -- the 7-foot-3 forward-center has said he doesn't drink, despite the slightly lower legal drinking age of 18 in Latvia.

Mostly, it appears Porzingis is intent on staying focused on his growth as a player. That means playing it low-key and chilling with his brothers, Janis and Martins, who played basketball professionally in Europe.

But when you've got that kind of in-house competition at your disposal and basketball on the brain, who needs to go out?
