Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Clayton Kershaw won his 100th career game and Jimmy Rollins notched his 900th RBI as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the Colorado Rockies 6-4 in the second of a four-game set on Friday.
Kershaw (2-2) recorded his milestone win by allowing three runs on four hits and three walks with 10 strikeouts over 6 2/3 innings, improving to 7-0 against the Rockies since Sept. 2, 2013.
"It's cool," Kershaw said of the win. "I don't know if it means a whole lot, but it's something to celebrate."
Rollins finished 4-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI, while Howie Kendrick supplied three hits for the Dodgers, who ended a two-game skid.
Daniel Descalso hit a three-run double, while starter Eddie Butler (2-4) gave up four runs -- three earned -- on six hits and four walks over 2 2/3 frames for the Rockies, who won Thursday's series opener 5-4.
Colorado made things interesting with a four-run seventh inning. D.J. LeMahieu got the Rockies on the board by driving a two-out RBI single to right. Kershaw exited after giving up a walk to Michael McKenry.
Paco Rodriquez took the mound and gave up a single to load the bases. Descalso cleared them with a double off the right-field wall for a 6-4 game. Yimi Garcia entered the game and struck out Wilin Rosario two batters later to limit the damage.
"I was just trying to battle," said Descalso. "I was able to get a good swing on it and get it over (Andre) Ethier's head."
Kenley Jansen, who was activated from the disabled list prior to the game, made his season debut in spectacular fashion. He struck out Carlos Gonzalez to open the eighth, but Gonzalez reached base on a passed ball. Jansen, however, fanned the next three batters to post a four-strikeout inning.
Adam Liberatore gave up back-to-back singles with one out in the ninth. Juan Nicasio took over and struck out Nolan Arenado. The two base runners executed a double steal, but Nicasio fanned Rosario for his first save of the season.
Kershaw got off to a shaky start as Charlie Blackmon led off the game with a single, moved to second on a wild pitch and took third on Arenado's one-out base hit, but left the frame unscathed after retiring the next two batters.
Rollins scored the game's first run with a solo shot to right in the home half.
The Dodgers added three more runs in the third. Kendrick opened the frame with a single, Adrian Gonzalez reached second on Rosario's throwing error and Justin Turner brought them both in with an RBI double. Turner moved to third on a groundout and trotted home on Andre Ethier's base hit to make it 4-0.
Rollins scored in the fourth after leading off with a double and coming home after Adrian Gonzalez hit into a double play, and pushed the lead to 6-0 by hitting a run-scoring single with two outs an inning later.

Kershaw (27 years, 57 days) became the second youngest active pitcher to win 100 games behind Seattle's Felix Hernandez (27 years, 14 days) ... Jansen was the first Dodger to record four strikeouts in a single inning since Zack Greinke on July 25, 2014 ... Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki left the game due to quad tightness ... The Dodgers have won 10 of their last 11 home games against the Rockies ... Butler fell to 0-4 in five career starts against Los Angeles.
