Britain's women won their first Olympic field hockey medal in 20 years when they beat New Zealand 3-1 for bronze Friday at Riverbank Arena.
Prince William's wife, the former Kate Middleton, was on hand to applaud the goals, all of them from second-half penalty corners.
Alex Danson and Sarah Thomas deflected in shots by captain Kate Walsh, and Crista Cullen scored another.

New Zealand, which got a goal from Stacey Michelsen with two minutes to go, was playing in the Olympic semifinals for the first time.
