Kansas City gets Big 12 tournaments 2012-2014

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Big 12 men's basketball tournament will be played in Kansas City from 2012 to 2014.

Conference officials also announced Friday that the women's tournament will be played in Kansas City in 2012 and 2013, but no did not name a site for 2014.

The site for the football championship game was not announced, but commissioner Dan Beebe says he will discuss the new Cowboys Stadium in Dallas as a possibility for 2011 through 2013.
