For a second time this season, Kansas State ended an unbeaten string for Missouri.

Rodney McGruder scored 24 points, as Kansas State toppled third-ranked Missouri, 78-68, stopping the Tigers' quest for a perfect home record this season.

On Jan. 7, K-State put together a solid performance in a 75-59 win, handing Missouri its first loss after a 14-game unbeaten streak to start the season.

Thomas Gipson added 13 points and Jamar Samuels had 11 rebounds for the Wildcats (19-8, 8-7 Big 12), who gained a second straight road win against a top-10 team for the first time in school history.

Tuesday���s battle was the final contest of three consecutive games against current top 10 foes. The Wildcats stunned then No. 9 Baylor, 57-56, on Saturday. Kansas State lost to Kansas on Feb. 13., but on Tuesday the Wildcats beat Mizzou for just the third time in their last 27 trips to Columbia.

Michael Dixon scored 21 and Marcus Denmon had 19 for Missouri (25-3, 12-3), which had a seven-game winning streak broken. They came into Tuesday with a 15-0 mark at home.
