Winnipeg, MB (SportsNetwork.com) - The Winnipeg Jets placed defenseman Toby Enstrom on injured reserve Tuesday with a lower-body injury.
The move is retroactive to Nov. 23, the last time Enstrom suited up for a game.
He has missed the past three games but skated in practice Tuesday and sounded optimistic he would play soon.
"Today felt good and we got through it, so we'll see how it feels tomorrow," said Enstrom, who has one goal and eight assists in 22 games this season.
The Jets face Edmonton on Wednesday. They recalled defenseman Ben Chiarot from St. John's of the AHL on Tuesday.
