New York, NY (SportsNetwork.com) - Charlotte Bobcats center Al Jefferson and Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry were named Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Month, respectively, for games played in April.

Jefferson averaged 24.5 points and 14.3 rebounds while leading the Bobcats to the league's best record in April at 7-1. He posted a point-rebound double- double in each of Charlotte's eight games, and grabbed 15 or more rebounds five times.

Curry averaged 26.4 points, a league-leading 9.9 assists and 2.38 steals while appearing in eight of nine games Golden State played in April. In addition to scoring in double figures in each contest, Curry handed out 10 or more assists five times.
