ANDERSON, Ind. (AP) — The Colts are moving their training camp from Terre Haute, Ind., to Anderson, Ind., where it was held for the first 15 years the team was in Indianapolis.

The team announced Wednesday that the new camp will be at Anderson University, a private Christian school with 2,700 students in central Indiana. Camp runs Aug. 1-18.

The Colts had held training camp in Anderson starting in 1984, when they moved from Baltimore to Indianapolis, and through the 1998 preaseason. The camp had been in Terre Haute for the past 11 years.

Colts president Bill Polian said in a news release that Anderson was "a successful summer home" for the team for many years.

The team, university and city officials have a news conference planned for Thursday morning at Anderson University.
